There are identifiable mishaps in someone’s life that at their discovery needs to be stopped. Through a thorough meditation, one can identify the wrong things one has been engaged in and it is expected that one does everything possible to put an end to them. From the micro improvements in minutes’ issues and wrongs is what result in great improvement.
In the process of improvement, the reading of great books brings about the needed change(s). Books are disruptive as it sometimes can alter a negative pattern and set one on the right path. Books afford one access to others world. The more one knows the better one gets.
Everyone’s ambition should be competence. To become articulate is a goal. Becoming more articulate (the ability to think and speak) is a weapon. Achieving competence or goal is an uphill task that one derives values from doing. When one reaches the top (peak) of the hill, it is reasonable that one wants to enjoy the sight and the scenery but more importantly is that one wants to move to a higher hill.
Standing for the truth is one area of improvement one is not expected to jettisoned in the process of achieving a dream, vision or goal. We are to have faith in the truth and stand for the truth regardless of the outcomes. No better outcome than one produce by truth.
To achieve the needed improvement, one should be honest with one’s ability and weakness and be ready to follow the path that agrees with our values and passion. Identifying a problem is the starting point of improvement and then a plunge into the deep of the mystery to discover the revelations that corresponds with the solutions is critical. One must admit the seriousness of the problem and take responsibility and discipline to uncovering the solutions. While undergoing the process of improvement, one is to compare oneself with our yesterday and not with another person’s today.
Time is crucial in the process of Improvement. We must be conscious of not being time wasters. In using our time, we are to learn to write as writing formulates thinking and also reading. We are to write the problems down and read as much as we can in the circle of the problem. Read and write every day. When we learn to read, write and speak effectively, we become absolutely deadly in the positive sense.
We have a whole lot of capacity but much won’t manifest if we don’t learn the art of discipline. We are to organize ourselves properly and in the areas of repair, we submit ourselves to repair. We must come to terms with our inadequacies in humility.
